Bio

Based in Park Slope, Brooklyn (NY), I am a qualified music educator with experience teaching music lessons for all ages and beginner to advanced abilities.

My teaching experience includes maintaining a private studio for over 12 years and faculty positions with Bronx Arts Ensemble, and New England Music Camp as well as being a teaching artist in the New York Public Schools, London Symphony Orchestra’s LSO Discovery Program, Orchestra of the Age of Englightenmen’s Education Department, and with Westminster Schools (UK).

Many of my students have gone on to top music conservatives, prestigious youth orchestras, music preparatory programs, and competitive Brooklyn magnet schools, and won high marks on ABRSM exams (UK).

Teaching Info

I strive to create a friendly and non-judgmental environment for students. I am a strong believer in setting goals with students and I strive to give pupils the tools and skills needed to achieve such goals.

I teach complete beginners to students preparing for college auditions. I focus on building proper fundamentals and healthy playing techniques as well as music analysis and musicianship skills.
