Bio

Megan Smythe is a New York based music director and pianist. She works in musical theatre on shows such as The Great Gatsby on Broadway and Titanique. Megan has two bachelor’s degrees from Ithaca College in music education and piano performance. She has experience teaching in public schools as well as private lessons. During her time in public school, she taught choir, theatre, and general music. Megan feel particularly passionate about teaching private lessons as it gives her and the student to connect in a way that would not be possible in a larger classroom setting.
