Bio

Hello! My name is Adam Winograd, and I am a junior at Yale studying Music and English. I am a member of the Yale College Composition Seminar, and have played violin and had my works played by various ensembles on campus.

Teaching Info

Depending on the level of the student, I will cater the material we use. For beginner composers, I may start with counterpoint or theory, or dive into fun exercises to get excited about creating. Advanced composers, however, might require a more in depth approach to learning orchestration or writing fugue. For violinists, depending on the level, anywhere from open strings exercises to Sibelius Violin Concerto.

If an audition or exam is coming up, I am happy to help out with preparing for those too!
