Bio

I grew in a musical household, and was exposed to all styles of music and musical theory concepts through family that taught at Berklee.  I have over 15 years of musical performance experience and  hold two degrees from Berklee – a Bachelor’s of Music in contemporary Writing and Production / Bass Performance, and a Masters of Music in Music, Production, Technology and Innovation.

Over the last decade I’ve played bass a number of musical acts and and taught bass guitar to dozens of students in a variety of settings.

Teaching Info

In my lessons I am always striving to strike a healthy balance between being fun and challenging, exposing students to music and techniques they may be unfamiliar while helping develop their own styles and tastes. This includes learning songs by ear and by notation as well as studying music theory and working through technical exercises. I’m happy to structure lessons around students personal aspirations and or provide structure to students who aren’t sure where to start. I have a catalogue of my own lesson materials I’ve crafted over the years and am constantly editing and adding to these materials to meet students needs.
