Teaching Info
In their lessons, students can expect personalized instruction tailored to their skill level and goals. Lessons will focus on developing a proper and efficient embouchure for pain-free and easier playing. They will develop technical skills through exercises found in standard books by Arban, H.L.Clarke, Vizzutti, and others. We will build repertoire with a focus on efficient learning and practice skills. Lessons will have a strong focus on ear training and aural skills to strengthen the bond between aural receptors in the brain and physical movements associated with creating sound. Students will also receive guidance on performance opportunities, such as recitals and auditions, and benefit from a supportive and encouraging environment.
My lessons are designed to foster growth, motivation, and a deep appreciation for music.
